Sunshine, Music and Community at the Reading Almshouses Summer Party

Residents, staff and trustees from across the Reading Almshouses community came together yesterday for a wonderful Summer Party at Liberty House.

With blue skies and warm sunshine providing the perfect backdrop, residents from all our properties enjoyed an afternoon of friendship, conversation and celebration. Events such as these are an important part of life within our communities, bringing people together and strengthening the connections that make Reading Almshouses such a special place to live.

A particular highlight of the afternoon was the entertainment provided by Martyn and Tom, whose music had toes tapping, hands clapping and smiles appearing throughout the audience. Their performance created a warm and lively atmosphere that was enjoyed by everyone present.

The Summer Party was also a wonderful opportunity for residents, trustees and staff to spend time together, catch up with old friends and welcome new faces.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who helped organise the event and to all those who attended and made it such a memorable afternoon. Judging by the laughter, conversation and music that filled Liberty House, it was a day that will be fondly remembered for some time to come.
