Parking
Castle Street Almshouses:
No onsite parking is available for residents. Visitors must use nearby pay-and-display car parks and pay-and-display roadside parking. The Almshouses are located very near to Reading town centre, so residents have easy access to public transport links. This accommodation is best suited to those with no mobility issues as there are no lifts, the accommodation is built on a slight slope, and we have no designated mobility scooter storage.

Liberty House:
One parking permit is issued per flat, with parking available in any space on-site. There are three disabled parking spaces for blue badge holders only. Any visitors need to park off site, be considerate of other road users and ensure they are not causing an obstruction to neighbouring properties.
Penton House:
Parking is by allocation only. Residents who wish to park a vehicle on-site must apply for a parking bay, which is charged at £20.00 per month. Visitor parking can be arranged through the PCM parking app, and all residents must register with the app to book visitor parking sessions. Visitors are permitted to park only in spaces marked with a ‘V’ and only for the duration of the time booked. Parking enforcement is managed by PCM, and the charity is unable to intervene in cases where parking violations result in a fine.
